The story

Tuesday morning, your teen is dreading an oral presentation. By noon, a hummingbird brooch is buzzing under their collar: the Aviary, a discreet agency housed beneath the school canteen, is recruiting its third agent. Eleven of the city’s bells have vanished, and the culprit is the ringtone composer nobody ever credited — she wants the whole city to play the chime that will give her back her name. With Nour, who speaks in numbered points, and Elio, who narrates his own life like a trailer, they will find out that a beta-version gadget never works twice.
