The story

In a city of canals, your teen is invited to a masked ball from which nobody comes out quite the same. They are handed a mask of translucent glass: it shows who hides behind the other masks. Between Countess Argent, a clockmaker who deliberately slows the hands and a mute gondolier, they must unmask the Guest with no face before the clock strikes midnight. The first true mystery of the Star Edition: here the reader searches instead of following.
